Originally from Denmark, I am the founder and principal mortgage broker at Viking Mortgages. I have lived in Australia for more than 30 years and in Noosa for 16 years and I continue to run the business according to the Viking ethos of determination, resilience and forward thinking.

My name is pronounced “Deeta” and I help individuals, families and businesses to obtain loans tailored to their financial circumstances, needs and goals. I understand the demands and pressures of day-to-day work and family schedules.
On a personal note, I am the proud mother of 3 strong individuals, Marco my youngest is in the art world, Tyla my eldest is in sales and NDIS and Lea is a principal broker in Viking Mortgages.
I love spending time with my two grandsons who are the light of my life, and I have two little white fluffy dogs, Buster and Lilly. When I am not working you will find me walking my dogs on the beach or trying to make Sour Dough bread.
2025 is our 10th anniversary for the business and also the year Lea has joined the business which is very exciting, going forward I hope that together we can help as many people as possible to achieve their dreams either of home ownership, a large or small investment portfolio or a business, whatever your dream is – we are here to help you get there.
I’m Lea de Groot (Rinaldi), your newest Viking Mortgages finance expert. I’m here to help you manage your finances and get the best lending experience. With over 10 years of experience in banking, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors, helping them understand finance and feel confident about it.
My background in banking has given me great insights into the finance world. I now use my skills to make sure you get the best advice and support throughout the process. I specialise in complex lending, Medico lending especially for self-employed people and professionals who need customised solutions. I also love helping first home buyers move into their dream home. I make the lending process easy and stress-free, ensuring that you feel supported every step of the way.
On a personal note, my husband, two young boys, and I live in Coolum Beach, where we enjoy spending time outdoors. When I’m not helping clients, I’m usually running after my kids, doing Pilates, exploring nature, or going on family trips in our caravan.
